Spring is when we kick off our 2025 production season.
Don't Miss A Beat presents an afternoon of song and dance highlighting Broadway's biggest blockbusters. The song list is a celebration of some of the most popular shows seen on Broadway stages over the years, the game changers that shaped the history of American musical theater and brought us where we are today. Join the next generation of talented performers as they explore traditional classics like Kiss Me, Kate to new favorites such as Wicked and Hamilton. It will be a night full of music and Broadway magic to remember!
Broadway Edition Summer Program 2025
June 16 - July 26, 2025
Open auditions and registration for our 17th Annual Broadway Experience Summer Program will be held on Saturday, May 10th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Don’t Miss A Beat Community Art Center located at 2839 West Beaver St, Jacksonville, FL 32254.
The audition process is on a first come, first serve bases for ages 9 to 18.

When disco diva, Deloris Van Cartier, witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won't be a found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but, in doing so, blows her cover. Soon, the gang is giving chase, only to find them up against Deloris and the power of her newly found sisterhood.
